I believe this occurs due to high amount of overclock that was done by the GPU manufacturer. I'm not sure but if you are able to reduce the frequencies of both GPU and vram by 10%, it'll most probably fix the problem. But it doesn't let you reduce the frequencies, you can only go higher. BIOS mod is required to do this. Since I already got 4060 in my hands, I'll risk this and test it out. I'll let you know.

I just want something for my 4 year old son to play and have some of the memories I had like sonic in sega mega drive, street fighter etc. Don't really care for 1 million plus games. If you're running into this problem in 2024, just download the AMD Pro Edition driver ver. 22.4 and it will fix your problem, and you will have the working Adrenaline software. I tried the method above, and it didn't resolve my issue. After banging my head against the wall for a few hours, I found this fix to be super easy and stable.

You mentioned it uses NVME. It's an m.2 alright, but it's not NVME.. It's a SATA m.2. Still way better than an HDD, but not as fast as NVME.
